The Q-Peak MPL Control Unit is a compact, computer-controlled, 19" rack mount device designed to provide electrical power, control and interlocks for diodes and other components in a diode-pumped laser. With its full set of control and diagnostic features, the MPL Control Unit offers flexibility of operation and integration. Modular, interchangeable power supplies can drive a number of different combinations of diode lasers. Power for and control of electromechanical shutters in the laser head is standard, and optional acousto-optic Q-switch RF drivers and nonlinear crystal oven power supplies are available.

A Windows-based control program is supplied with the unit. for use with PCs having at least one serial port
