We have pioneered in the development and commercialization of
tunable solid state lasers, and as part of this expertise, are working
to build solid state ultrafast lasers and systems that can find use
outside of the research laboratory. In addition, we are leaders
in development and commercialization of high-power, high-beam-quality
solid state lasers and have extended this work to research, power
scale-up and applications development of long-wavelength fiber lasers.
Our work in nonlinear optics seeks to move operation to new power
levels and wavelength regions, as well as adopt new nonlinear materials
as they become available.
