Q-Peak is located at 135 South Road, Bedford, Massachusetts,
and utilizes 15,000 sq. ft. of space on the first floor of a modern
industrial building. Included in the facilities are R&D laboratories,
laser assembly and production areas, CAD operations, a machine shop,
inventory storage and materials-receiving spaces. Major equipment
includes numerous optical tables, optical fiber processing equipment, Nd-doped and Ti:sapphire solid state
lasers, and a variety of optical (spectral, power and beam-quality)
and electronic (high-speed digital, RF spectrum, and signal-analysis)
measurement tools. Software in use at the fully networked space
includes Solidworks, COSMOS/M, Mathematica, Matlab and Labview.
